Board of Trustees of Kanoo Award Visits BCCI
Sameer Nass, Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce, and Industry (BCCI) received the Board of Trustees of the Yusuf bin Ahmed Kanoo Award. The meeting discussed ways to enhance integration between research efforts and the commercial and economic landscape in the Kingdom of Bahrain, contributing to supporting economic decisions based on scientific studies and analyses that serve the interests of the Bahraini private sector and meet its aspirations.

The BCCI Chairman welcomed the members of the Board of Trustees, praising the pioneering national role played by the Kanoo family in supporting knowledge-based and institutional projects that reflect its commitment to serving the nation and society. He emphasized that the Yusuf bin Ahmed Kanoo Award is a distinguished national initiative that contributes to promoting a culture of scientific research and honoring research competencies in priority areas.

The meeting reviewed a number of strategic proposals for cooperation between the Chamber and the award, most notably: "launching a joint communication platform, creating a special category for applied research, providing incentives for adopting research findings, organizing periodic seminars and dialogues, and establishing a Business Lab."
